Teen Wolf Season 6 Trailer: What You Might Have Missed
Scott McCall
The leader of the pack lost someone close to him, not just a friend, but a brother. The second trailer shows a blank and confused Scott looking at a photo with a vacant spot. As the trailer progresses fans are treated to a scene with Scott glancing at a locker with a Roscoe Jeep blue lock on it. Scott comes to the locker and places his hand on the door and a shadow is casted. The shadow is meant to look like Stiles, giving symbolism that even separated in life momentarily they are bonded as brothers.
Another interesting scene is Scott pounding his hand on what looks to be in a glass tank or cell. Could Scott be trying to shift into his wolf form?
Lydia Martin
Lydia is going to be the key to remembering Stiles and helping the pack remember him. Lydia is seen throughout the trailer helping others remember Stiles. The most heartbreaking scene was one with her and Sheriff Stilinski. In it, she holds Stiles’s lacrosse jersey and shows a vacant, dark and boarded up room to Sheriff Stilinski. Look closely in the trailer you will notice a hole in the wall of the Stilinski home. Being erased from memory, Stiles’s room is gone and what is left is a forgotten empty room that was hidden away. It was only revealed by Lydia to Stiles’s father.
Also, at the very beginning of the trailer, Lydia says something that has everyone replaying over and over again to figure out. Still unable to make out what she says, the audio sounds like “-ienim.” Could Lydia just had said Stiles’s real name aloud? Possibly, as a scene from a previous season Stiles’s real name is covered up which left fans in a frenzy to figure it out. We will have to wait and see on November 15th if Stiles names us truly revealed early on in Season 6.
Malia Tate
Seen briefly in the second trailer, Malia is seen with Stiles’s Jeep (Roscoe) questioning where Stiles is. Malia is also shown crouched down in the nude with glowing blue eyes. This eludes to the idea that Malia learned or was taught to shape shift from teenage girl to werecoyote. This topic was brought up in Season 5 with Theo after she witnessed him transform before her. Leading to the question, did Theo teach her this skill?
Malia is seen in quick glimpses that viewers may have missed like fighting off Ghost Riders from the Wild Hunt in the tunnels. The fight comes on the heels of Lydia, Scott and Malia on the search for clues to find Stiles.
Ghost Riders
Their whips are their weapons of choice. They are used to rope in their victims and bring them to a bardo like waiting room. You hear Scott in the trailer say “They all are going to be taken.” This statement later played out when Stiles is taken by the Ghost Riders. Pausing the trailer at one minute, a werewolf is captured and could possibly be Liam. For the next scene Cory and Mason sit and watch the person disappear into thin air.
Theo Raeken
Yes the Beacon Hills resident bad boy is back in the second trailer to Season 6; he is seen running through the doors of Beacon Hills High School with a look of panic. Still curious how his storyline will play out and just how much redemption he will get.
