Teen Wolf Season 5 may be over, but there are still loose ends to tie up when Season 6 premieres in June 2016. Here are some hopes and expectations we would like to see in Season 6. Also our thoughts about the new edition to the cast! 

Lydia Martin’s Storyline 

We saw a huge character arc for our beloved Banshee where she got to learn more of her abilities with the help from Meredith. From our understanding, the pack is unaware of her abilities with the exception of Hayden and Sheriff Stilinski. Witnessing her sonic scream tunnel when going head to head with Sebastian. We are curious to see more of her ass kicking Banshee abilities in season 6, and Lydia being a secret weapon for the pack.

Scott’s Pack

We are heading  further into senior year for most of the pack. I wonder how the new and younger members of the pack are going to handle the shifting dynamic as graduation is approaching. Hayden is the newest member of the pack and we hope to see more Alpha Scott teaching his wisdom to them [We don’t need another repeat of Derek Hale’s pack on our hands].

Scott McCall, Malia Tate, Lydia Martin and Stiles Stilinski are all graduating in Season 6 [that’s if Malia can keep up her grades]. What will be their plans after high school? We already know about the future for Stiles Stilinski in law enforcement, but that leaves the remainder of the pack left to resolve life.

Stydia

Let’s be real here, Stiles and Lydia need to have a true heart to heart about what happened at Eichen House. Fans of these two have already had to suffer through cringe worthy episodes where conversations were never had about important moments [like that kiss in Season 3]. It was the kiss heard around the fandom, and fans were let down when the kiss was just a cure for a “panic attack.”

This pairing never got that conversation about Stiles being a key to getting Lydia out of Eichen house. It was hard to ignore all those heart eyes between the two in Season 5 Episode 16. These two seriously need to be locked in a room, and have a conversation about everything they have gone through together. Jeff Davis teases that there will be a Stydia moment in the very first episode of Season 6. Only time will tell if this is true.

Villains

Looks like the Desert Wolf is still alive despite having her leftover powers stripped by Malia. We were a little disappointed by this storyline and hoped for more out of the Desert Wolf as a villain as a whole. Who knows if we will see more of  the Desert Wolf in Season 6, or if she will drop off as a villain like Peter Hale did in Season 5. We are hoping for a little more of Malia’s storyline in Season 6 that carries on what happened with her mother.

Season 6 has a new villain, and we know the formula for the reveal will be like most seasons (mystery villain + people dying + Scott’s pack in danger = who’s the villain game). All fans know is that something broke out of the Dread Doctor’s tubed tank and is most likely the new villain.

Latest Addition

Pete Ploszek has joined the cast as Mr. Garrett Douglas described as a young and handsome teacher that all the students love. Sound a little familiar? Does Jennifer Blake ring a bell? She was the new teacher on campus, beautiful, intelligent and a student favorite. However, she showed her true colors after being revealed as the Season 3a villain, The Darach. Fans already have their thoughts about him and so do we; think it’s safe to say we don’t trust this pretty, new face.

All We Know About Season 6 

• Season 6 will be another time jump. This time is a 3 month time jump and the end semester of Senior Year.
• Season 6a will be centered about on friendships: mainly the bromance of Stiles and Scott.
• Huge character arcs for Scott McCall and Lydia Martin.
• Apparently there will be “mind control” in Season 6.
