MTV and Teen Wolf came together to throw their very first ‘Red Eye Marathon’ in three cities New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles.  Fans of the hit series got to meet cast, hang out with fans, receive Teen Wolf merch and catch the sneak peek of the first 5 minutes of episode 11 of Season 5. 

Fans of the hit MTV series Teen Wolf have been known to be the most devoted. This theory was put the test when MTV teamed up with Teen Wolf to put on ‘Red Eyes Marathon’ a recap of Part 1 of Season 5 before the Part 2 premieres on January 5th. Red Eyes Marathon event was held in three different cities New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Red Eyes Marathon promised the fans treats and special guest appearances at each city location. New York City was joined by Meagan Tandy (Breaden) and Ryan Kelley (Jordan Parrish), Linden Ashby (Sheriff Stilinski) stopped by to greet fans in Chicago and Los Angeles was spoiled with the trio of Jeff Davis (show creater/producer), Dylan Sprayberry (Liam Dunbar) and Tyler Posey (Scott McCall).

I was able to attend Red Eyes Marathon in Los Angeles [thanks to MTV team giving me a last minute reserve]. Fans lined up down the street to attend the marathon that ran from 6:00 p.m. to 3 a.m. MTV gave fans $25 gift cards to the concession stand [that pretty much lasted the whole marathon]. Once at my seat for the night, I was pleased to see three chairs on the stage for a small Q&A with Jeff Davis, Dylan Sprayberry and Tyler Posey.

Teen Wolf being one to cater to the fans, pulled the first two girls that lined up for the marathon backstage to meet and greet with the trio [Jeff,Dylan and Tyler Posey].  Then later on during the Q&A portion, Jeff Davis requested that Dylan Sprayberry go sit with fans for a photo. Leaving young fans in a howl of squeals for the new fan favorite [Dylan Sprayberry].

No spoilers were given during the Q&A other then a tease by Jeff Davis of a possible death in Part 2 of Season 5. A fan requested that, “No one would die,” in which Tyler Posey was quick to say, “That’s a true alpha answer, I like that answer.” However, Jeff Davis has been known to kill fan favorites or sending them off to foreign countries. So does this mean that fans will be seeing another departure? I guess we will have to wait to see how Part 2 of Season 5 plays out.

My Highlights of Red Eyes Marathon: 

MTV and Teen Wolf were generous with the swag. Giving fans swag each break out session from portable phone chargers, backpacks, Teen Wolf lollipop, Teen Wolf travel mug, Shannara Chronicles book and Red Eyes Marathon poster

Surprise drop in from cast members past. Michael Fjorbak (young Peter Hale) dropped in at the marathon while passing by the event by chance. He stayed in to watch a few episodes with fans and was kind enough to take photos with fans. Hears missing and hoping we get Michael back on Teen Wolf to reprise his role or be apart of a spin off.

Being the first to see the After After Show Sizzle Real and catching a sneak peek of the first 5 minutes of episode 11 of Season 5, The Beast of  Gévaudan is revealed, and new fan favorite ship Layden [Hayden and Liam] is seen running for their lives after being chased down by The Beast of Gévaudan.
