Teen Wolf may be on hiatus, but fans of the hit series are still celebrating and supporting everything Teen Wolf, mainly with their love of cosplaying their favorite characters. So to celebrate the fans of Teen Wolf and pass the time till Season 6, here is our very first ‘Cosplay Friday’ Teen Wolf edition with cosplayer, Mandy!

1. What sparked your desire to cosplay? What was your very first cosplay? 

Well since I was little, I loved playing dress up both by myself and with my cousins. Halloween was and still is my favorite holiday. In freshman year of high school, my friend got tickets to NYCC, which is the ultimate place to cosplay on the East coast. So I threw together my first cosplay, which was “casual” Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time. She wore a yellow sweatshirt in an episode so it was simple enough. I made a crown out of fabric and bought a wig from Target. I also made it a point to chew gum the entire day. As embarrassing as it was, everyone has to start somewhere. 

2. What character do you relate to the most from Teen Wolf? 

I can relate to Stiles in a certain way, being the sharp tongued sidekick of my friend group, but I also relate to Liam in being the runt, the baby who leaps before they look. My inspiration is Allison because I want to protect myself. All in all, there’s more than one because they’re all so great (well, most of them).

3. What has been your favorite character(s) to cosplay from Teen Wolf? 

Probably Liam. Liam is my go to and probably the easiest to pull together. I have some of his clothes from the show too. However, half kanima Jackson was lots of fun. I would do that again.

4. If you could cosplay or reenact your favorite scene from Teen Wolf that you haven’t done before what would it be and why? 

There are so many to choose from! I would love to cosplay Theo and reenact the the scene where he’s telling Donovan to kill Sheriff. Liam jumping to attack the Beast would also be amazing. I’d probably pay someone to make an edit of that. 

5. What are you looking forward to in Season 6 of Teen Wolf?

Less death! Haha, I’d love to see Scott regain his alpha status once and for all. The events in s5 really made Scott physically and emotionally weaker. And now that Hayden is part of the pack, I want to see what she can do! She makes Liam happy, so I’m happy.
