Star Wars Battlefront review.
Ok so Star Wars Battlefront… let me start by telling you how much I loved Star Wars Battlefront 2. The space battles were epic, and the ground battles intense. All I wanted to do was be a Jedi, when I was a kid. Now I can run around with a lightsaber and be the Jedi I always dreamt of being. Of course it’s just a game, but the feeling of murking on the front as a force user?? Nothing better. Now, I’ve spent way too much of my free time on battlefront 2, but I don’t regret it because it was.. to put it simply.. Awesome!
In the NEW Battlefront game, I get most of the same feelings I had when playing the originals, but I miss some of the features the old games had. One example would be SPACE BATTLES!! Why would you take that away? I mean it’s called STAR wars for a reason. Another game type I miss is galaxy conquest; that was one of my favorite game types from the originals. Sure, it was a long time commitment, but the satisfaction was worth it when you beat your enemy in a full galaxy war. Hopefully, they’ll bring back space battles and galaxy conquest in the expansion packs later to come this year. I wouldn’t mind some clone wars expansion packs either..
I enjoy this game quite a bit. The graphics are beautiful, the combat is very fun, especially when playing with friends. Another nice feature is that the servers are actually really good; I haven’t had any connection issues. I’m glad they kept the same feel from the original trilogy, I got way too excited when I started to play as Darth Vader and Boba fett!! You can also drive an ATAT and devastate the battlefield. You can customize your soldier, male or female, different styles and combat packs. You can buy new weapons, however, the weapons aren’t customizable, which I think works great in this game. Otherwise, it would be way too much like call of duty, and that market is already over saturated. Each hero has their own special abilities; for instance, Darth Vader’s force choke, which is way too much fun. There are 13 maps in this game and they are all gorgeous, and I can’t say anything bad about them. There isn’t a single player campaign in this game, only multiplayer, but I think that’s all this game really needs right now. Although I wouldn’t mind seeing a campaign mode in a future DLC. This game is very fun and if you like Star Wars, it’s a must buy. I would give this game a 8\10
