SDCC Virtual Comic-Con Guide for 2020
With the coronavirus pandemic, the world’s largest geeky gathering has been canceled. But all is not lost as organizers of SDCC plan for Comic-Con@home with virtual panels, exhibit floor, and treats!
Comic-Con@home will be held July 22nd-26th, and a full list of programs can be found here. And with the convenience of setting up your own Comic-Con@home schedule from the couch, you can easily plan time to catch your favorite cast panels!
Panel Information for Comic-Con@home
Panels will be completely free to the public and can be viewed on Comic-Con’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ComicCon. Comic-Con is known to be the place where major industry leaders release teasers, trailers, and the latest news in the entertainment world. However, with the coronavirus pandemic and Hollywood coming to standstill. Some production details may be delayed, but there is always Comic-Con magic and surprise treats to keep an eye out for.
Another thing to keep in mind for fans, is that panels for Comic-Con@home have been previously recorded and won’t have live fan interaction. So if you can’t make the Comic-Con@home panel time because of essential work, do not fear. Panels will be left up for fans to enjoy.

Highly Anticipated Panels and Personal Favorites
His Dark Materials (Thursday, July 23rd at 1:00 p.m.)
The panel will include executive producers Jane Tranter and Jack Thorne, as well as cast members Dafne Keen (Lyra), Ruth Wilson (Mrs. Coulter), Ariyon Bakare (Lord Boreal), Amir Wilson (Will Parry), Andrew Scott (John Parry), and Lin-Manuel Miranda (Lee Scoresby) in a virtual panel discussion about the hit drama series and tease what to look forward to in Season 2. The panel will also be moderated by award-winning journalist Stacey Wilson Hunt.
New Mutants (Thursday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m)
Writer/Director Josh Boone and the cast of Twentieth Century Studios and Marvel Entertainment’s The New Mutants, including Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga discuss the upcoming original horror-thriller moderated by Ira Madison III.
The Boys Season 2 (Thursday, July 23rd at 3:00 p.m.)

Join The Boys cast for an exclusive panel, panelist include; executive producer Eric Kripke, along with series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, and Aya Cash, with moderator Aisha Tyler, for a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming second season of The Boys. Executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg will also make a special appearance. During the panel, Charlize Theron discusses the evolution of the modern female action hero, the roles that inspired her, and what drives her to constantly push her limits with fight training.
The Walking Dead (Friday, July 24th at 1:00 p.m)

Chris Hardwick will moderate the online panel with cast members, the panel will feature TWDU chief content officer Scott M. Gimple, showrunner and executive producer Angela Kang, executive producer Greg Nicotero, who directed the episode, and cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Josh McDermitt, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, and Paola Lazaro.
Rumors say that during the panel the premiere date for the Season finale will be dropped.
