The Red Devil is finally revealed, KKT under new order and what awaits the Chanels?

***SPOILERS AHEAD****

The Red Devil is finally revealed in the two hour season finale special. I have to say I was a little disappointed by the reveal as she was my first suspect when the show first premiered. If you followed social media and promoting, you were quick to pick up the front runner ‘Red Devil’ suspect. I guess some viewers were hoping Ryan Murphy would pull a surprise twist as shown in his other works on American Horror Story. But low and behold the Red Devil is none other than Hester Ulrich, the pledge KKT sister with a mean [fake] neck brace.

Being that the finale was two hours long and there was a lot of Wallace University campus to cover, I will be highlighting the most ‘scream’ worthy moments:

The Fate of The Chanels

Hester was able to convict not one, but all of the Chanels for the murders at Wallace University. First with Libby Putney [Chanel No.5], which sadly was falsely accused by Hester for stabbing her with a heeled pump in the eye [which viewers found out was self inflected]. Hester was also able to have Chanel No. 5’s parents disown her, and lie to authorities about being adopted. Another pull at the heart strings for Chanel No.5, because  let’s face it she was the least appreciated Chanel. With low self-esteem and after seeing that her parents loathing of their own daughter, Chanel No.5 was looking for acceptance and the feeling of being wanted.

Sadie Swenson[Chanel No. 3 ]was arrested after letters from her biological father, Charles Manson, was revealed to the KKT, and Chief of Police Denise. The letters insisted that Chanel No.3 kill her KKT sister, as her father’s attempt to give ‘fatherly advice.’  It also mentioned Chanel’s split personality ‘Dirty Helen’ a biker chick that killed Tiffany DeSalle.

Lastly, Hester is able to convince everyone that Chanel Oberlin is also a culprit in The Red Devil killings. By killing Ms. Bean in the fryer [which was turned on by Hester]. The Chanels were arrested and later arraigned on murder charges. The ladies would have been released from charges after a ‘Non-Guilty’ verdict, but Chanel had to object to the verdict before it was read and insulted the jurors. Their non-guilty plea was quickly changed to guilty without hesitation.

The Chanels were sentenced to life at the Parker Asylum for the Insane. This quickly becomes a heaven for the Chanels. Chanel becomes head of the asylum, Sadie falls in love with a female nurse, and Libby finds happiness with the help of medication.

KKT Under New Reign 

After the arrest of the Chanels, KKT is reopened 5 months later with a new President Zayday Williams, Vice President Grace Gardner and Treasure Hester Ulrich. Viewers learned that Zayday and Grace were spared the first night of pledging at KKT after they showed Hester kindess. Also the fact that Hester and Grace are half sisters helped with her survival through out the season.

The Red Devil Is Back

At the end of the season 1 finale, The Red Devil is revealed once more. This time only to Chanel Oberlin as she is getting ready for bed at the asylum, just before she is about to pull over her eye mask. There are little to no details yet about how Season 2 is going to play out or if the series has been renewed. There are high hopes that it will being the new fall hit series. Will Scream Queens pick up where season 1 left off with a new killer, or will Hester not be able to contain her own devilish side? Maybe Ryan has something else up his sleeve entirely for Season 2. I guess we will have to stay tuned.
