Ravi informs Liv and Major that the cure is only temporary, and likely humans too will revert to their zombie state. He tells Major he needs to run more tests to know more. Ravi adds that he has been able to narrow the search for Utopium to a single 100-acre field.

David Biel, a man dressed as Santa Claus, is the victim.

While out digging holes with Ravi and Major, Liv has a vision on the spot and she goes to police the station and gives Clive some information.

Chief goes to Blaine worried he may have scratched one of their client’s bodyguards.

During the making of a zombie High school movie, one of the actors that gets shot in the scene actually ends up getting shot with a real bullet and dies on set.

Liv joins Ravi as they go to the murder scene together. Clive is already there and informs them that the victim was Jordan Mason Marsh (the star of the show), and that the prop gun had been switched with a real loaded one. The guy who pulled the trigger, Wyatt Carter aka Cody, had no idea he was holding a real gun.

Clive invites Liv to help him on the case as she knows a lot about the show, and it would come in handy with her.

Major is helping Vaughn with his workout training and gives him a fitness tracker.

Liv goes with Clive to question Wyatt about when he put down the prop gun. “Never take eyes off your firearm,” as that was rule number one, and was adamant he never put it down. Liv begins sharing her theories that it could of been the prop master Fitz or that it could of been Wyatt himself who wanted Jordan dead. Clive makes notice to the posters of the Zombie High seasons.  Wyatt was up front season one, season two Jordan was up front with Wyatt, and then by the third season Jordan was up front and sees potential motive.

Liv, Ravi, and Clive are back at the morgue. She mentions Starlee Decker, a co-star of Jordan, and how she was with him in real life and they made a tape together. It leaked, but helped the show’s ratings. She also points out the tattoo on Jordan’s arm that says ‘Never forget’ and was in the process of being removed.

Gilda tells Vaughn Du Clark that Major is playing him and that he is too vain to see it. Vaughn brushes her off by saying you can’t play a player.

While in line at the studio for food, Clive begins questioning the dressed up zombies that Wyatt told them he never lost track of his prop gun and if it were true. One of the fake zombies mentions that he was always losing it all the time. They were both annoyed how Jordan wouldn’t acknowledge them and brought up how Jordan wanted to move the show down to L.A. so that he could pursue his movie career.

Liv then notices Kell Gutherie, a death actor and Clive points out the tattoo on his arm. It says the ‘Never forget’ the same thing as Jordan’s tattoo says. Kell’s interpreter explains the tattoo’s meaning. It is dedicated to Jenny Hulce, an assistant director,  who died by falling asleep at the wheel. He also adds that Jordan would make them do over 30 takes for just one scene, and if it wasn’t for the production shooting so late, Jenny would still be alive.

Wyatt interrupts and tells Liv that they are ready for his next scene if she wants to check it out. And he then offers for her to practice by running lines with him.

Ravi is going over the dailies and shows one of them to Liv. In episode 210 it’s interrupted by Jordan who is yelling about being tired of all the pranks and is putting up security cameras.

Dr. Lockett reveals to Major that is he is going to expose Max Rager, and that he is taking all their research to the press. The reason he is telling Major is because in case something happens to him, he wants Major to tell the world what really goes on there, and that zombies do exist and then hands him a flashdrive.

Liv goes with Clive to Jordan’s trailer to see if they can find any of the security cameras. They see Starlee there on his computer and she tells them that she was checking to see if there was another tape of them on there. Liv then has a vision of Starlee angry and yelling at Jordan and threatening to reveal that it wasn’t a burglar that released the video it was him.

Lana tells Clive and Liv that Bonnie lied about who they were going to kill off in the new season. It was Wyatt’s character. He knew because she told him as they were sleeping together. He was trying out for the role in a Power Rangers movie, and he was worried how it would interfere with his job with Zombie High.  That was when Lana told him his character would be dying. He ended up not getting the part for the other movie.

Major goes to Vaughn and tells him how Dr. Lockett was going to the press, and going to expose all of the Max Rager’s secrets and gives him the flash drive. Vaughn then takes Major to his secret lab and has Dr. Lockett go in to feed one of the zombies. Vaughn ends up locking him behind the door and traps him with the zombies. He then reveals that it was only a charade and it was to test Major’s loyalty and he passed.

Liv has a vision while looking at Jordan’s car. She sees it filled with dirt and a tombstone with Jenny Hulce’s name. Clive then pulls in Jenny’s husband in for questioning.

Blaine is getting ready to head out to deliver a brain delivery when outside the front door of the funeral home, Agent Dale Bozzio shows up. She informs him she is just following up on the victims and two of them had his phone number registered in their phones. He brushes it off saying that he does not recognize them and gets calls all the time.

Fitz, the prop master, had an affair with Jenny Hulce. He hated Jordan with a passion so when he heard Jordan was trying to move the show to L.A. he made a snap decision and switched out the prop gun with the real gun.

The fitness tracker that Major gave Vaughn earlier is revealed so that Major can hear in on everything that Vaughn is talking about.

Once the murder case is wrapped up, Clive tells Liv that he will see her tomorrow. She smiles as she is back on the team and helping him out.

Agent Dale Bozzio sees some drawings of a guy on Clive’s desk and asks him who that is. He tells her that he is a suspect from the Meat Cute Massacre. She then informs him that she had just met him and that two of her missing presumed dead guys had his number.
