Liv and Major are making out heavily, but Liv ends up stopping it from going further. She is worried that the saliva between their kisses could turn him into a zombie.

Mike Hayden, a security guard was shot straight through the heart.

Gabriel ends up returning to Blaine, finally agreeing to cut the Utopium in return for the cure.

The head of R&D lets Gilda know she needs a blood from a functional zombie for the Super Max recipe.

Mike’s basketball team of kids show up at the police station, telling Liv and Clive that they think they know who killed him. The information they are given is that they believe it is RJ’s dad who had tried choking the coach at one of the basketball practices. Liv and Clive go to visit T.J. Ryan, RJ’s dad. Liv has a vision of T.J. hitting his own kid.

Major tells Gilda that he needs a more potent tranquilizer as the last guy had woken up in his trunk.

Clive goes to T.J.’s house to give him a warning, and ends up punching him several times in the face, and tells him to never hit his son again.

Liv takes Major to coach the basketball team for the day.

Scott Eberhard’s twin brother shows up to give Ravi the tainted Utopium courtesy of Blaine.

While Liv is in the kitchen preparing dinner, Gilda comes home and “accidentally” cuts Liv in the kitchen to get the blood she needs for the doctor.

Clive finds information about Funders Keepers, a site for crowd funding. Mike was fundraising $5,000 to take his team to Steve Nash’s basketball camp.

Major finds another zombie at a restaurant, but then walks away after he sees the man’s wife and son show up.  Major begins to doubt what he is doing.

Dale gives Clive information about Alan York, who was the astronaut that went missing. They had found a strand of his hair deep within the sink drain at Meat Cute.

Clive returns to the morgue to give more info on the Funders Keepers fund, and that the $4,000 donation page is a dead end and untraceable. The three people Liv couldn’t identify from the security photos earlier, Clive tells her that he got a new lead and one of them just showed up dead.

Liv, Ravi, and Clive go to Tacoma to check out the body of a new murdered victim, Telly Revins. Ravi is able to indentify that the cause was blunt force trauma. Clive talks to Liv about how Telly was on the 14^th floor an hour before Mike was even shot. The security tape doesn’t show Telly ever leaving the building. Liv and Clive then go to investigate yet another lead, Harry Cole. They find that the bat in his office has been bleached, and that there is blood evidence on the blinds.

Ravi has another test vile for the Utopium and is about to give it to the tests rats when Blaine shows up. Gabriel injects himself and ends up dying instantly from it. Blaine calls the anti-cure the instant zombie killer. Blaine is eager and wants it and Ravi doesn’t want it to fall in the wrongs ends so they both rush to get their hands on it. When Ravi finally gets a hold of it, he smashes it to pieces.

Liv and Clive are back at the Police Station with Harry. He admits to killing Telly, but tells him that somebody else killed Mike. Clive is aware of who the ‘fixer’ is.

Major tells Gilda he checked out eight potentials from the list, and none of them were zombies. She then explains the probability of them coming up negative is low.

Major is back at home, and flushes the rest of the Utopium down the toilet. He goes downstairs to see Liv there waiting for him. He tells her that he doesn’t want to just be her friend; he wants them to be together and to give them another shot as he is a better man with her.

Mrs. Suzki shows up as she has given more thought about Clive’s suggestion at her husband being suicidal as she reveals a plastic container she found in his beer fridge. It has a brain inside.
