The trailer has a familiar undertone that of Ronald Reagan’s famous 1984 “It’s Morning in America” presidential campaign ad. Showing imagery of Gilead’s ideals being campaigned as America’s home values.

However, the fake facade of the campaign is burned away as flames engulf the home of Commander Fred Waterford and Serena Joy. The teaser is filled with imagery of Handmaids from different sectors of Gilead. Leading up to the most powerful scene, where we see what looks like an army of Handmaid’s standing on the lawns of the U.S Capitol. If you look closely one will notice the transformation of The Washington Monument Monument turned into a cross. It is hard to tell from the teaser just who is talking to the handmaids as the image is blurred.

While there is little to be known about Season 3, there will be new faces joining Handmaid’s Tale Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), and Elizabeth Reaser (The Haunting of Hill House).
