Coming this Fall! Hit shows we have been waiting for!

Fall is upon us and with fall comes a flurry of new and returning shows to television. September and October is full of anticipated premieres of shows. Here are our top picks for upcoming shows we (and others) are most excited about:

American Horror Story Season 6

Never has there been such a anticipation for a premiere of American Horror Story (or many other shows for that matter) than there is for AHS season 6. The reason being? The theme for this season has not been disclosed…or has it? The producers of the show decided to play a little trick on the fans and create several teaser trailers for the new season, but only one is a true trailer. The few things that we do know for certain is that the season is called Anthology and children will have a major role to play in this upcoming season.¹

Rumors and theories sprouted all over the internet over what theme is most likely the upcoming season’s theme. Two of the most prominent theories are aliens and the Roanoke Colony. If we had to pick one theme we are interested in seeing it would definitely be the Roanoke Colony. With the popular horror movie, The Witch, (which is set in that time period) making creepy waves in the horror community, it may not be such a large stretch. There is about 25 or more teasers out there. Check out this compilation of teasers 1-15:

Blindspot Season 2

The hit Blindspot comes back for another season as the mystery of Jane Doe and her tattoos continues. According to sources, fans will learn more about Jane (like her name and some of her back story) come season 2.² Check out this sneak peak of Season 2 courtesy of NBC which premiered at Comic-Con 2016:

Gotham

Gotham is back for another season and it looks like things are going to get a little “mad”. We saw some of this madness starting last two seasons with the introduction of more villains including what many people saw as the perfect Joker or also known as Jerome. After Jerome’s death, fans are hoping to see Jerome again in Season 3.

And things are definitely looking like they will take a turn for the worst in Gotham with the very catchy and interesting tagline “Mad City”. This may be in reference to the upcoming villain hinted at in the show which is the Mad Hatter played by Benedict Samuel.

What we know from producers is that Jim Gordon is not with the GCPD and will be a bounty hunter and the Court of Owls will have a presence in the season. They even stated the subtitle of the season is called “heroes will fall”. ³

Scream Queens Season 2

This quirky hit is back for another season of mean girls meets scream. From the producers of both Glee and American Horror Story, one can definitely see the strange and entertaining mixture of the two aesthetics in this very funny hit. Season 2 looks to pack more laughter and drama in this horror comedy.

And it looks like some new (and recognizable) faces will join the cast. John Stamos is set to play Dr. Brock Holt and Taylor Lautner will play Dr. Cassidy Cascade as well as Kirstie Alley who will play the Administrator of the C.U.R.E. institute. 4
