Suicide Squad

A mix of misfit villains (Deadshot, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc, Diablo, Enchantress and Harley Quinn) are recruited by the government to accomplish a task deemed too dangerous. The band of misfit villains must bury their own interpersonal conflicts and agendas to form a cohesive unit to take on a singular task. We will have to wait to see on August 5th just how good it is to be bad.

Pete’s Dragon 

For years, an old wood carver, Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford), has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods. His daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), works as a forest ranger.  These stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family, and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliott. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon. Get ready for this feel good family movie and old classic dragon to fly into theaters August 12th.

Florence Foster Jenkins

Sure to be an Oscar contender, Florence Foster Jenkins tells the true story of  a New York heiress (Meryl Streep) that is determined to become a famous opera singer despite her lack of talent. Get ready to sing your heart out on August 12th.

Don’t Breathe 

The plot is simple: a group of friends break into the house of a wealthy blind man thinking they’ll get away with the perfect heist. They’re wrong.  It seems like the blind man has a few dark and twisted secrets of his own. This movie is reminiscent of Disturbia, and looks to be a fun suspense thriller that will leaving the audience holding their breath on August 26th.
