AHS: Which Theme Is Season 6?
American Horror Story (AHS) has released another teaser trailer for Season 6 which will premiere on September 14th. FX has put out 17 promo teaser trailers over a span of 3 weeks that leaves the viewer terrified. The marketing behind the mystery of Season 6 leaves a lot to the imagination. FX has said that one of the teaser promos will be the theme for Season 6. AHS fans are quickly dissecting each trailer to unlock the mystery to the season. Some AHS fans believe that Season 6 will revolve around The Roanoke Colony, also known as the lost colony.
A more popular theory is one that has swirled around the AHS fandom for some time now. The theory is that all seasons of AHS are in fact connected. This theory is toyed with by FX in one of the teasers where Season 1-5 flow in order with a chilling lullaby playing in the background. Even this is in fact true; FX will savor this theory for the series finale to tie everything together. So we can perhaps set this theory aside for now, but here is the promo teaser below for fun.
An underlining theme that can be seen is the element of children. Ryan Murphy has gone on record that Season 6 will have “elements of children” shown in a handful of teasers. Ryan Murphy has played with demonic children in previous seasons so we will see just what kind of mischief these children will be up to.
Lastly, here are the confirmed cast members returning for Season 6: Lady Gaga, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett, Leslie Jordan, Cheyenne Jackson, and Sarah Paulson. Their roles are just as mysteries; even their character names have yet to be released.
Which teaser trailer is your favorite? What theme are you hoping Season 6 will be about?
