The quick 29 second teaser is a nightmare to pick apart. Considering fans have to pause frame by frame to catch a glimpse of the characters being flashed before their eyes. Of course we see Margot Robbie in her reprised role of Harley Quinn feature in a good portion of the teaser.

Not only is she dawning a new look that strays from her Suicide Squad staple look. Harley’s new look has a more playful and youthful undertone in the teaser. Of course, there were countless interviews where Margot Robbie herself stated that her original Harley Quinn costume made her self-conscious. So I am not surprised that Margot decided to switch up Harley Quinn’s ‘Birds of Prey’ ashtetic.

Not only did we get to see Harley’s new look and tone for ‘Birds of Prey.’ We also got to see glimpses of Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina), Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco), and the villain of ‘Birds of Prey’ Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).

However the most intriguing part of the teaser, is the dog tag that Harley Quinn is wearing in one of her new ensembles. Engraved on the dog tag is the name, Bruce. Could Batman make a cameo in ‘Birds of Prey?’ Guess we will have to wait when the film flies into theaters February 7, 2020
