Marvel Television has made their first wave of panel announcements for Wondercon 2018 today. Among the announcements is Cloak & Dagger, that will premiere on FreeForm on June 7, 2018. 

Cloak & Dagger will follow the heroics of Tyrone “Ty” Johnson/Cloak (Aubrey Joseph)  and Tandy Bowen/Dagger (Olivia Holt). Cloak & Dagger is based on the 1982 Marvel Comic by Bill Mantlo and Ed Hannigan. Their first introduction is from Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man Cloak Issue #64.

Cloak can have the ability to envelope people in his cape causing them to experience their deepest fears. This power comes from the darkforce dimensions, a realm of pure negative energy. While Dagger has the ability to create knives out of light at will.

Cloak & Dagger will bring the darkness and light to Wondercon 2018. The panel will assemble Olivia Holt (Tandy Bowen/Dagger) and Aubrey Joseph (Tyrone Johnson/Cloak), along with executive producer and Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb, executive producer and showrunner Joe Pokaski, and director Gina Prince-Bythewood. Cloak & Dagger will also bring along a sneak peek of the anticipated summer show on March 23rd.
